Bio
Meet Jago, a test engineer by day and a drag racer by weekend. He does most of the work on the car himself, with a helping hand from his children and partner. His goal in drag racing is to create cherished family memories. Last season, Jago improved his times from 13.20 to 12.48 seconds, all while towing the caravan to and from the race track each weekend.
In the works are fully built gearbox, home workshop and covered working area at home.
The winter of upgrades will be:
- ARP head studs
- 1.1mm Cosworth head gasket
- Remap to 450hp
As we increase the boost in the RB25, things are getting exciting. We’ve transitioned from Nano drive to XHYPE FluXion Engine Oils and are noticing improved performance both on and off the track. I drive the car daily, and even with a more aggressive map, my MPG has improved. On the track, the enhanced performance is helping me achieve more consistent launches when the lights go green.
