Bio

Liam has modified things since he was a child. From BMX bikes to Scalextric cars to go karts and anything in between (Also any electronic devices) the goal was always to make things faster, more durable and look unique. Nowadays if Liam’s not eating, being a dad, running one of his 5 small businesses or in the gym then he’s definitely working on one of his cars or out drifting.

That’s enough about me! more importantly, the cars:

The beast (The Daily Driver) – A 2019 Ford Ranger. Mustang front headlights, raised suspension, wide arches, modular wheels, custom Dakar style rear mounted wheel, Recaro sportster seats.

The brown Z4 (The seat time skidder) – A 2003 E85 BMW Z4. The spec list for this thing would take days to write out so just the main bits are, Suspension, arms subframes all custom / modified to give huge amounts of lock. The car is painted brown and beige! (Was meant to be Marrakesh brown which is more bronze but after mixing in with tintable raptor it looks more brown). This car is pretty well know in the drifting community and people I meet know the car before me. It is fully caged with a hardtop and rocks a Huge carbon chassis mounted spoiler. Seen at most major UK race circuits / large automotive events as part of the PHDrift drift taxi team.

The Celica (The rally car) – A 1991 wide body ST185. Another huge spec lists. Fully seam welded and caged chassis. Currently in bits while we decide which route to go… Back to the trusty 3sgte or go to the tried and tested 5sgte (A Frankenstein coupling of 3sgte with a Camry bottom end) all the forged internals are ready to go along with a period correct Motec M4 ecu. Bodywork we have all the originals or a choice of lightweight WRC replica panels.

The GT86 (The Poser) – A 2013 Toyota GT86. This car is what I class a GT3 spec OEM plus (Homage to the unbelievable road cars built by Porsche). The car has a half cage, buckets and harnesses but has had all interior panels and carpets cut and shaped to fit back in the car too. Bc coilovers, Ksport 8 pot big brakes under custom sized staggered works emotion D9r wrapped in Michelin PS4’s. Stilling running the controversial FA20 engine but forged and tuned to well over 400hp (don’t forget these cars are only little and light to start with).

The R34 (The dream Car) – A 2000 Nissan Skyline R34. Freshly imported, anybody who has worked on it has said it’s the cleanest skyline they have ever worked on. But it’s not a GTR I hear you say. Nope, no heavy 4WD setup or Hicas setup to delete. This is a rear wheel car built to go sideways. Brembo brakes, Strom wheels, BC coilovers and target of 1000hp. Plan to do a big wide body kit build and modernised cockpit! Watch this space.

Using XHYPE products has significantly enhanced my performance and achievements. Their engine oil keeps my engine cooler and delivers more reliable, usable power. I’ve noticed an increase in power at lower RPMs, which allows me to drift and showcase my skills more effortlessly.
