Charlotte Birch made a strong comeback to BARC Track Action after a mid-season break, driving her Honda Civic with great determination and skill. Using our XHYPE Gravity Drive Performance Engine Oil, Charlotte aimed to secure top positions in the latest round of the series where she had previously enjoyed significant success in the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

Thruxton posed a new challenge for Charlotte as it is the fastest circuit in the country, characterized by high-speed corners and heavy braking zones.

Qualifying began on Saturday morning once the rain had cleared and leaving a mostly dry track. With 25 racers competing, managing traffic became crucial. Despite a red flag interruption, Charlotte secured overall pole position with an impressive lap time of 1:29.029.

Race one saw Charlotte starting from pole in dry conditions. She launched the Vinna Sport Honda Civic perfectly, maintaining the lead against Paul Roddison through the initial corners. Although Roddison briefly took the fastest lap, Charlotte continued to hold her ground. By the final lap, Roddison capitalized on a slipstream to overtake Charlotte at the last corner, securing the win. Charlotte claimed victory in her class after a thrilling race.

In the second race, Charlotte once again started from pole. After a clean start, she quickly built a lead. A red flag incident led to a race halt, but upon resumption, Charlotte executed another flawless start. She maintained her lead throughout the shortened eight-minute race, fending off Roddison’s attempts to close the gap and securing a brilliant victory.

Charlotte’s performance throughout the weekend was outstanding. She demonstrated strong qualifying pace and impressive racecraft, leading almost every lap of the event. This success positions her well for future races in the 2024 season with the Track Action Racing Club, where she looks forward to more close, multi-class competition.
